I have been a Zen Home client for 5 years now. Flavia is the greatest cleaner and could not ask for a more reputable firm. All the cleanings exceed my expectations. It's obviously the reason I have been using them for so many years. It's also the caring little exttras that the staff does. If my Fresh Direct gets delivered, the cleaner puts my stuff away! I would say thats going above and beyond their typical cleaning responsibility. I have used many services in the past, but none better than Zen Home. Just feels great knowing I am coming home to an exceptionally clean home -- better than a five star hotel cleaning!! I recommend Zen Home to everyone.
I have been a regular Zen Home customer for 4-5 years now. Zen has been consistently good. I started with a spring clean service and that was very impressive. (My apt was not that dirty, but I never had a spring clean before. And the difference was night and day. I didn't know my floor can be that much cleaner). Cleaners are always on time, professional & thorough. I also like that they can send in replacement when the cleaner had the day off / sick leave. The green product used definitely helped with my allergies.
The con is that Zen is expensive compared to other companies, but they are serious about cleaning (esp floors). I personally wouldn't be able to do such a job in 4-5 hours. Once in a while the cleaner had an off day, but the result is still much better than the other companies I used. I would (and have) recommend Zen Home.
My apartment building recommends Zen Home for good reason. I am a clean freak and they live up to even my expectations. You can write them notes that are added to your electronic zen home profile so that everything is done JUST RIGHT everytime. Any possible issue or imperfection that ever came up was dealt with right away. Everyone is very nice and VERY accommodating. One of my favorite things about their customer service is that they're willing to do basically everything via a few quick emails, which is great for someone like me who cannot be (and doesnt like to be) on the phone often. I highly recommend Zen Home:)
i've been using zen home for a few years now- they're wonderful! they always arrive right on time, or a little early. everything is always extremely clean when they leave- and on the rare occasion that you find a dust bunny under the bed, all you have to do is shoot them a quick email and they leave a note with the cleaning professional to be sure and get that spot next time (that is, if you'd rather spend the time writing them an email than just cleaning it yourself ;) ). they keep a running list of things you want them to focus on, which i think is really helpful. my favorite thing, though, is that they're not just professional- they're genuinely nice. friendly. pleasant. highly recommend them.
Prior to using Zen Home, I had gone through various cleaning options 1- a family referral and 2- an hourly company that had a 2 hour minimum. Both options were mediocre and barely got the job done. I never understood the need to have a cleaning for more than 2 hours or even for more than a certain price range until my cleaning with Zen.
Diana arrived a few minutes prior to her start time to get acclimated with the space and I have to say, she was absolutely AMAZING! She was so thorough with the cleaning and left all of my belongings nice and organized and still made it easy to locate them (huge problem with most cleaning companies). I was home during her cleaning and barely noticed that she was there, which is hard to say with being in a studio. The attention to detail that is so standard with Zen Home is unbeatable. From the folded toilet paper to the bed turn down amenity kit and the aromatherapy throughout the space. Very well worth every penny. I definitely will be using them regularly.
Once again Zen Home to the rescue. I am so impressed and grateful to this awesome and professional home cleaning service. Working full time and attending graduate school gets hectic. My place was a mess. Ebony was pleasant, and prompt. She asked me what areas that she needed to concentrate on. She clean and scrub my house from top to bottom. I recieved many presents i just threw them in the corner of my room. When I return she organized and actually created more space in my bedroom. The bathrooms were spotless. She organized my nieces bedroom so cute. They were so happy when they came home. She was comfortable with my puppy and had my house smelling wonderful with a nice scent. The staff called me prior to get details. I will recommend Zen to all my friends and family. Ebony worked so hard organizing and cleaning my home that the Zen is a business that provides quality service. The BEST!!!!
If you don't mind paying the premium price, really first-rate. I'm a single guy with pretty horrendous standards of housekeeping. Zen shows up on time, leaves the place looking better than the day I moved in, and the cleaner was friendly and efficient. She let me know up front that she'd probably need more time than I had booked, and I got a call later in the day confirming that she'd need another hour. But the place was a pit, so that was not unexpected.
I don't really need a chocolate on my pillow, and I don't really care if my apartment gets cleaned with organic products, but I do care a great deal about punctuality and thoroughness.
Again, Zen is pretty expensive, but I think this is a case of getting what you pay for.
I'm a mother of two young children, I'm a hard working student and wife to a very needy man. I am so thankful to Zen Home because with a schedule like mine I just don't have time to keep the house as clean and organized as it should be. Zen home cleans my apartment twice a month and THANK GOD for them. There's nothing like coming home tired from a stressful day and having a clean house. Their products are eco-friendly. I don't like to use those harsh chemicals that ends up giving me a headache after cleaning. Besides, who wants their kids breathing that toxic stuff? I went with Zen home originally for that reason. Who would have thought i would grew to love them. The extra bonus goes to having my flavored chocolate or what ever treat it is on my cozy bed and counter
It really helps a lot especially if you just don't have the time. We women (mothers) can't always do it all by ourselves. So I just want to say thanks to Zen home on days like yesterday, to come home and have a nice clean fresh smelling house and chocolate treats. I always look forward to that. It's not fun to have to do it all yourself all the time.. it gets tiring.
As a person who tries to be "green" whenever possible, I have always been a big fan of this service. For about 5 years now, I have been receiving bi-weekly cleanings and have always been very happy with the level of service and professionalism I have received. My 2 kids love the way the essential oils make my home smell after a cleaning (and they REALLY love the free organic chocolate bars and cookies). I love that I don't have to worry about them inhaling toxic chemicals because this company uses all-natural cleaning products. The cost is a bit more than if I hired an individual house cleaner, but knowing that this company is insured and bonded makes it well worth it. Overall, I would recommend this service to anyone, especially those who value a green lifestyle.
I've been a customer of Zen Home for the past 2 years and have never had any major problems with them whatsoever. The quality of the cleaning has been consistently outstanding and the cleaners have always shown up on time.
We have a cat in our apartment and they are very cool with her as well. Most importantly, they're always asking for feedback via the phone or online surveys which they do take into consideration for future cleanings.
Overall I've been very very pleased with the service and while they are pricier than some other companies they are very reliable and easy to deal with.
